Student data such as address details, photos, phone numbers and e-mail addresses are no longer available in the portal for the organizations by default to contacts from those organizations. Students must first give permission for that in the dossier. This can be arranged using the ‘Student privacy settings’ activity.
The content of that activity is shown below. This is where the student can set what information is shared with the practical organization.
The dossier block of the dossier info tab makes immediately clear what information has been released by the student.
The example above shows what information about a student is shown in the dossier for staff of the school. This student has therefore not shared any data with the practical organization. For a contact at the organization, the student block on the dossier info tab will then appear as shown below.
The contact at the organization therefore also sees no information about sharing student’s information.
