Help, I have issues logging in!

We try to make logging in as easy as possible, but sometimes you end up in a place that is not meant for you. and it is difficult to find your way back. It is of course always very annoying if you cannot log in, in this article we will try to help you as best we can.

What steps should I take?

First of all, have you received a specific link from your educational institution via email, on a website or via a button on the intranet or LMS? Then use this first!

All educational institutions that use OnStage have specific web pages for logging in their users. Often that link looks like this: <school name>-onstage.xebic.com.
For example, the Hogeschool Utrecht has the link: https://hu-onstage.xebic.com and DaVinci College has the link https://davinci-onstage.xebic.com.

If you do not have this link, or you cannot find it, we need to check the following:

1. Are you on the right website?
2. Which button on the login screen should I use?

We will try to help you with this choice below. If you cannot figure it out, we would like to refer you to the service desk of the school, or your contact person at the educational institution.

Are you on the right website?

Before we go into depth, we first want to check whether you have entered the correct Onstage website. The OnStage portal has 6 websites:

2. https://onstage2.xebic.com
3. https://onstage3.xebic.com
4. https://hva.xebic.com
5. https://zuyd.xebic.com
6. https://onstage4business.com

In addition, we also have a commercial website for the product that can be found at https://www.onstagesoftware.com.

Most people, when they search for OnStage online, end up on the first page. But most users are on one of the five other portal websites.

So try logging in to the other websites as well. And again, did you receive a specific link from your educational institution via email, on a website or via a button on the intranet or LMS? Then use it! This will take you directly to the right website.

Which button on the login screen should I use?

OnStage has a login screen with a number of options This screen looks like this:

There are 4 main buttons for logging in that are used by the vast majority of users, but some users also have the option (temporarily) to log in with a username/password account. The buttons work as follows:

SURF:

This is the Single Sign On arranged by SURF, which is used by the vast majority of student, teacher and other users from the educational institution. Several of our Office365 integrations also go through this mechanism. After clicking on this button, you can choose your educational institution and log in.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that if you have entered OnStage via the wrong URL, you will receive an error message after logging in. So check your URL with one of the others mentioned above in the question "Are you on the right website?"

ENTREE federatie:

This is the Single Sign On arranged by Kennisnet ENTREE federation. which is used by most student and teacher users. After clicking on this button, you can choose your educational institution and log in.

Xebic identity

This is the new Single Sign On function of OnStage itself that will be rolled out slowly to bring everything to one. At the moment, this user is being used by a few pilot customers for inviting external assessors. After clicking on this button, you will immediately enter the login screen and you can log in with your Identity account via E-mail/password, Microsoft, Google or Linkedin account.

Internship organization (Available from release 29)

With this button you go to our portal for (internship) companies: OnStage4Business. After clicking this button, you will immediately enter the login screen and can log in with your Identity account via E-mail/password, Microsoft, Google or Linkedin account. Most internship companies log in with this method, and some schools or educational institutions also use this portal for assessors, professors and other professionals involved.

PLEASE NOTE: Some companies still have to log in via our old company portal for a specific school or educational institution. For this login, go to log in with account.

The schools or educational institution where external companies still have to log in via this portal are:

• DaVinci
• DC-Terra
• Hogeschool Rotterdam
• HZ University of Applied Sciences
• TU Delft

Log in with account

This is the old way of logging in for OnStage. This is being phased out for our customers. The only people who still log in here are a selection of internship companies and most external assessors. For this login, you use a username and password received by OnStage. To get a new password, you still need to know your username.

If you have lost your username, please contact your contact person at the school or educational institution who can help you further.

I can't figure it out, can someone help me?

The best place to get help with logging in and to get more information is at the school or educational institution for which you want to log in. We would therefore like to refer you to the service desk of the school, or your contact person at the educational institution, with this question.
