You can enter a new vacancy in two ways, namely by using the 'Organizations' screen and the ‘Vacancy list’ screen.
- Click the name of the organization in the ‘Organizations’ overview screen. You can see the details on the right, including ‘5 most recent vacancies’. Click this to open it and click ‘Enter new vacancy'.
- In the ‘Vacancy list’ overview screen, click the ‘Enter new vacancy’ icon (at the top right).
Fill in the fields, making sure when you enter the organization name that it has not already been listed in OnStage. If so, OnStage will make suggestions. Follow them if the same organization is involved.
The ‘Type of vacancy’ field is mandatory.
Add characteristics to the vacancy (second tab: level, experience, etc.) that explain which students it is meant for. This allows the vacancy to be customized. These characteristics can be configured for each study programme.
Vacancies that have been entered will be visible (for students too, if required) through the vacancy database in the dossier. It is then possible to hide the contact details from the students. The menu button can also be used for making the vacancy database visible to the students, if required.
If desired, vacancies can also be entered by students. This is enabled in the step-by-step plan of the dossier (the process template). Various options can be set for this.
- The student is allowed to enter and/or change contacts.
- The student is allowed to enter a name for the vacancy, or OnStage chooses a standard name.
- The 'Detailed description' box can be mandatory, optional or hidden.
