Each OnStage user is assigned one or more ‘application roles’ that are linked to their account. This applies to members of staff, students or external staff (from the organizations).
Members of staff can have multiple roles. Where there are such double roles, the one with more privileges counts for the authorizations. In that case, the user can choose which dashboard to use (as their default, or by switching via the options). The Q&A gives role-based information and adjusts to the context of the chosen dashboard, even when clicking through from elsewhere.
