During the period when you are supervising or have to assess one or more students, it is important to log in regularly. You can then actively use dossiers through your dashboard ().[TES1]
You will see all the dossiers that you are involved with in one or more roles:
- You can filter by the various roles that you have (e.g. study career counsellor/tutor and assessor)
- You can filter by status (the stage the dossiers are currently at)
- You can filter by a group (if the students are in groups) and by a coaching group (during the work placement or graduation period; sometimes subdivided further)
These filters are only available if there is genuinely something available to filter on.
- You see the progress of the dossiers over time in the progress bar: the further the blue bar has got, the more of the time for the placement or graduation period has elapsed.
- When the log is used, the progress of its completion and checking can also be seen.
- The progress in the step-by-step plan can be seen from the step listed above the progress bar; this is the first step that has not yet been carried out.
- If an action is expected, it is shown on the ‘My current dossier activities’ tab, with the number of dossiers it applies to given in brackets.
- You can look up the details of the students and their dossiers.
When you get an e-mail from OnStage, follow the instructions; this mostly means logging on and performing a task.
