The step-by-step plan for the preparation phase in your dossier contains special steps for this. Exactly how this works may differ from one study programme to the next. The most common situations are discussed below:
- In some study programmes, students are allocated a placement, BPV place or graduation place.
- Or you can submit preferences, which will be used by the school later on to allocate a place.
- It may also be the case that students determine their choice and present it to the coordinator.
In these cases, OnStage provides options for searching for a work placement, practical vocational training (BPV) or graduation place yourself in the vacancy database (if the study programme has chosen to allow this), and you can then enter it in OnStage.
- Searching in the vacancy database: Click ‘Go to vacancy database’
- Enter the following yourself: Click ‘Add vacancy you found yourself’
If a match has been made in one of these ways, you can find the information about the organization and your coach in the ‘Info’ tab of your dossier.
The ‘Vacancy database’ button is below the menu button (if the study programme has chosen to allow this). This gives you a general impression of the places that are available for BPV, placements or graduation work. It is an overall impression, because there is much more to be seen under this button than is really useful for your situation.
